I’m a freelance photographer working and living in Ghent, Belgium.
I was drawn to photography as a way to collect peculiar moments involving people or places. As a way to show others how something looked poetic, weird or funny, even just for a moment.
Later on I developed a love for photography as a tool to tell stories about people and places. Receiving a grief card with the picture of a childhood hero of mine made me value the art of portrait photography and its power to record or construct someone’s identity.
